NSW, QLD and NT are on the Consulate General jurisdiction.

Importante Note: Effective from 1 st March 2007, Australia Post Money Orders will be the sole accepted form of payment for consular services. The Australian Post Money Order must be on the name of the Consulate-General of Brazil.
Deposit into the Consulate General’s bank account will NOT be accepted.
BIRTH
REGISTRATION AND CERTIFICATE

Brazilian consular
offices are authorised to register the birth of children born to
Brazilian parents abroad within their consular jurisidiction. To register
a child, the Brazilian parent (father or mother) must attend in person
at the Consulate-General to complete the appropriate form and present
the following documents:

. General
remarks:
- The Consulate-General
can only register births of children under 12 years of age.
- Registration
and first copy of the birth certificate are free of charge.
- For general
purposes in Brazil it is recommended to have a birth certificate issued
by the First Civil Registry Office at the place of residence in Brazil
("Cartório do Primeiro Ofício do Registro Civil").
