POWER OF ATTORNEY The NSW, QLD and NT are on the Consulate General jurisdiction. Powers of Attorney effective in Brazil can be prepared by the Consulate-General for Brazilians or for foreigners living in Brazil as permanent residents. The grantor(s) must attend in person at the Consulate-General to complete the appropriate form and present the following documents:
Terms, conditions and purpose for the Power of Attorney must be supplied by the grantor. If necessary, guideline samples may be provided by the Consulate-General.
Consular fees may vary according to the purposes of the Powers of Attorney. For further information, contact the Consulate-General - consulado@brazilsydney.org. IMPORTANT Consular fees: Effective from 1 st March 2007, Australia Post Money Orders will be the sole accepted form of payment for consular services. The Australian Post Money Order must be on the name of the Consulate-General of Brazil. Deposit into the Consulate General’s bank account will NOT be accepted. |
