LEGALISATION OF SCHOOL DOCUMENTS

The NSW, QLD and NT are on the Consulate General jurisdiction.

Credit for any school work, diplomas and courses completed in Australia will only be acknowledged in Brazil after consular legalisation. The legalisation of school documents can be made in person or by mail. The  Consulate-General can only legalise school documents issued within its jurisdiction. 

  • School must provide a full diploma or a complete course report,  with marks and absences. 
  • All school documents must be originals, signed by the Principal. 
  • All school documents must be issued on letterhead paper of the school.

Legalisation by mail:

Send documents, consular fees ( The original of the deposit receipt must be provided ) and self-addressed stamped return envelope to the Consulate-General. Do not send cash, either for fee or postage. The Consulate-General cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed mail.

After receiving the complete set of documents, the Consulate-General requires ten working days for legalisation. Add a minimum of two days for documents returned by mail.
