- Legalisation of School Documents
Credit for any school work, diplomas and courses completed in Australia will only be acknowledged in Brazil after consular legalisation.
The legalisation of school documents can be made in person or by mail. The Consulate-General can only legalise school documents issued within its jurisdiction.
- School must provide a full diploma or a complete course report, with marks and absences.
- All school documents must be originals, signed by the Principal.
- All school documents must be issued on letterhead paper of the school.
- Laminated documents are not accepted.

Importante Note: Australia Post Money Orders are the sole accepted form of payment for consular services. The Australian Post Money Order must be on the name of the Consulate-General of Brazil.
Deposit into the Consulate General’s bank account will NOT be accepted.
Legalisation by mail:
Send documents, consular fees and self-addressed stamped return envelope to the Consulate-General. Do not send cash, either for fee or postage. The Consulate-General cannot be held responsible for lost or delayed mail.
After receiving the complete set of documents, the Consulate-General requires ten working days for legalisation. Add a minimum of two days for documents returned by mail.
