The jurisdiction
of the Consulate General of Brazil in Sydney is NSW, QLD, NT and some countries and islands of the Pacific.

If you reside in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, ACT, PNG or Vanuatu please visit the Embassy of Brazil website: www.brazil.org.au .


To register a death, a member of the family of the deceased (or a legal representative) must attend in person at the Consulate-General presenting the original death certificate issued by the local authorities. A form provided by the Consulate-General must also be completed and duly signed. Registration and first copy  of death certificate are free of charge.

Please note: the Consulate-General can only register deaths of Brazilian citizens, occurring within its jurisdiction.
