The New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, Norflok Island, Ashmore and Cartier Islands,Coral Sea Territory, Lord Howe Island, Heard and Mc Donald Islands, Coco Island Territory, Salomon Island , Pitcairns Island, Wallis & Futuna Islands, Loyalty Island, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia (FR), Palau, French Polynesia (Marquesas Islands, Tabuai Islands, Tuamotu Attols, Gambier Islands), Independent Samoa, Eastern Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Fidji Replublic are on the Consulate General jurisdiction.

To register a death, a member of the family of the deceased (or a legal representative) must attend in person at the Consulate-General presenting the original death certificate issued by the local authorities. A form provided by the Consulate-General must also be completed and duly signed. Registration and first copy of death certificate are free of charge.
Please note: the Consulate-General can only register deaths of Brazilian citizens, occurring within its jurisdiction.
